Instagram Scheduler

Schedule Instagram posts,
Reels, Stories, and carousels.

Instagram is the visual one, and that is the whole job: the Reel or the carousel, the cover frame, the caption, the hashtags, the first comment, the way the grid reads once the new post lands next to the old ones. EziBreezy keeps all of that in one place, so you pick the media, write the Instagram caption, set the cover and the first comment, check the grid, and put it on the calendar. Posts, Reels, Stories and carousels all publish straight to Instagram at the time you picked, and the one that would have failed at publish time gets caught before it goes out.

Schedule the Instagram formats you actually use

Yes, we allow
multiple stories in one post.

Plenty of schedulers make you add Story frames one at a time, so a six-frame Story turns into six separate things to set up and queue. EziBreezy lets you put all of them on one Instagram Story post, then it splits them into separate frames for you, keeps them in the order you chose, and groups them so a retry can pick up the whole set instead of one stray frame.

Feed posts

Images and videos

Schedule Instagram feed posts with the caption, the media, alt text on images, and post tags where the account supports them.

Carousels

Up to 10 items

Add more than one image or video to a feed post and it becomes a carousel. EziBreezy keeps your slide order and publishes it as one.

Reels

Cover, feed, frame

Reels can carry share-to-feed, a custom cover, and a chosen thumbnail frame when the account and the video allow it.

Stories

Frames in order

Stories publish as Stories. No caption, no first comment, and if you attach several media items they become separate Story frames in order.

The full Instagram scheduler feature list

Media-first composer

Instagram is a visual platform, so the composer starts from the media and makes sure every post carries an image or video before it queues, instead of letting it sit in the schedule and fail at publish time.

Feed posts, Reels, and Stories

Feed posts, carousels, Reels, and Stories all publish straight to Instagram, as long as the connected account and its permissions allow it.

Carousels as multiple media items

Attach more than one image or video to a feed post and it becomes a carousel. EziBreezy keeps the slides in the order you set and publishes the whole thing as one.

Multi-media Stories split cleanly

Attach several media items to an Instagram Story and EziBreezy splits them into separate Story frames, queues them in order, and keeps them grouped so a retry can handle the whole set at once.

Reel share-to-feed and covers

For Reels you can set share-to-feed, a custom cover image, and the thumbnail frame, and EziBreezy carries those choices through to the published Reel.

Automatic first comment

Schedule a first comment to post on its own once the feed post, carousel, or Reel goes live, which is where a lot of people park hashtags or a call to action so the caption itself stays clean.

Composer follows the format

Switch a post to Story mode and the composer changes with it. The caption field steps aside, since Stories do not use captions, so you only work with the fields that actually apply to the post you are building.

Hashtag groups in captions and first comments

Saved hashtag groups can be inserted into the shared caption, Instagram caption, or first comment, so repeated tag sets stay reusable without becoming a notes-app ritual.

Instagram previews and grid planning

Instagram previews show how the post will read before publish, while the grid planner helps arrange upcoming feed posts and Reel covers before the visual order goes live.

Media Room, folders, labels, and Drive import

Instagram posts can pull media from Media Room, including assets organized by folders and labels. The media picker also includes Google Drive import where the integration is configured.

Alt text on feed images

Feed images carry the alt text saved on the asset straight through to Instagram, so accessibility text is set once on the file instead of retyped on every post that reuses it.

Calendar scheduling and batching

Instagram posts, Reels, Stories, and carousels can sit on the same calendar as the rest of the workspace, so weekly batching and campaign visibility do not live in a separate planning file.

Tag people on feed posts

Tag accounts on feed image posts the way you would in the app, and if Instagram rejects a tag for any reason, EziBreezy republishes the post without that one tag rather than failing the whole thing.

Locations and collaborators

Add a location and tag collaborators on feed posts, with collaborator and location lookup built into the composer for Facebook-connected accounts.

Product tagging from your catalog

When the connected account has a commerce catalog, you can tag products straight from it in the composer, picking the catalog and then the items you want on the post.

Two ways to connect Instagram

Connect through Facebook if the account is a Business or Creator account on a Page, which adds analytics, collaborators, locations, and product tagging; or connect Instagram directly if it is not on a Page, and it still schedules posts, Reels, Stories, and carousels.

Instagram analytics

Reach, engagement, follower, and top-post reporting comes through on Facebook-connected Instagram accounts, and the setup screen tells you up front whether your connection includes it.

Approvals and client review

Instagram drafts can move through EziBreezy review workflows before scheduling, so feedback happens against the actual platform caption, media, and publish state.

Social Inbox attached

Instagram comments and DMs flow into the Social Inbox, where the original scheduled post can sit beside the conversation for faster replies and moderation.

Failed Post Recovery

Instagram publish failures use the same recovery as everything else in EziBreezy: automatic retries for the temporary stuff, the reason in plain English, no retry when the account needs reconnecting, and a one-tap retry when it can just go again.

We have a really fancy grid

Instagram scheduling gets messy when media lives in camera rolls, Drive folders, Canva exports, and old campaign folders. EziBreezy lets the post pull from Media Room, where assets can carry folders, labels, alt text, usage history, and platform handling.

And when the look of the feed matters as much as the posts in it, the Instagram grid planner lays your profile out in three columns where every tile is a real post or a mockup you are still shaping, so you can see how the next run of posts reads side by side, drag drafts into the slot you want them in, and promote a mockup straight into a scheduled Instagram post.

Instagram Analytics

See what
reached people.

Instagram is the channel where reach, saves, and the slow climb of the follower line tell you whether the work is landing or just being posted on time.

EziBreezy brings Instagram account and post reporting into the same analytics area as the rest of your publishing, on Facebook-connected accounts where Instagram returns the data, so the next batch can learn from the last one.

Followers

Audience

Watch the follower count move as Instagram becomes part of the regular publishing rhythm instead of the occasional scramble.

Reach

Attention

See how far the post actually travelled, including the people who saw it but do not follow the account.

Engagement

Activity

Track likes, comments, shares, and saves together instead of guessing which post did the work.

Saves

Kept for later

The save is the quiet vote of confidence. See which posts people tuck away to come back to.

Comments

Conversation

See which posts pull replies and questions, and which ones just got a like and a scroll past.

Top posts

What to repeat

Line up the posts that earned the most reach and engagement so the next batch builds on what already worked.

The social media social inbox

Post Comments

Reply to the conversation happening in the open.

Mentions & Tags

Acknowledge those who are spreading your message.

Direct Messages

Nurture the 1-on-1 relationships that build loyalty.

Publishing is not the end of the Instagram workflow. Instagram comments and DMs are wired into the Social Inbox, so the conversation after a post stays beside the post that started it, ready to reply or moderate from the same workspace where it was planned.

Why stop at posting to Instagram

One clip rarely stays one post. It goes out as an Instagram Reel, then a TikTok, then a LinkedIn update, and you'll probably still want a YouTube Short of it too. EziBreezy keeps the Instagram side of that, the caption, the cover, the first comment, set the way you want it while the same clip travels everywhere else.

So the Reel can have its own caption and the YouTube version its own title, and you're not redoing the whole thing each time. It all sits under one campaign, and every platform still gets the words that fit it.

Instagram Scheduler FAQ

What can EziBreezy schedule on Instagram?

EziBreezy schedules Instagram feed posts, carousels, Reels, and Stories. Instagram requires media, so each scheduled Instagram item needs at least one image or video. Feed posts, carousels, Reels, and Stories publish through the Instagram provider when the connected account and Meta API permissions allow it.

Is EziBreezy an Instagram post scheduler or an Instagram planner?

Both, but the scheduler is the core. You can schedule Instagram posts, Reels, Stories, and carousels, then use the grid preview, calendar, media library, per-platform caption editor, first comment, tags, and recovery tools around that publishing workflow.

Can I schedule Instagram Reels?

Yes. Reels use video media and can publish through the Instagram provider. EziBreezy also supports Reel-specific settings for share-to-feed, a custom cover URL, and a thumbnail offset when those settings are available for the connected account.

Can I schedule Instagram Stories?

Yes. Instagram Stories publish as Stories. Captions, first comments, and thread comments are not used for Stories. If you attach multiple media items to an Instagram Story, EziBreezy splits them into separate story posts and schedules them in order.

Can I schedule Instagram carousels?

Yes. Carousels are represented by multiple media items on a feed post, up to Instagram's 10-item media limit. EziBreezy keeps the media order, shows a carousel preview, and publishes the carousel through the Instagram provider.

Can I schedule the first comment on Instagram?

Yes, for non-story Instagram posts. First comment publishing is best-effort after the post goes live. If Instagram accepts the post but rejects or delays the comment, the post is still treated as published and the comment failure is logged rather than blocking the whole post.

Does EziBreezy support Instagram hashtag groups?

Yes. Saved hashtag groups can be inserted into the main caption, an Instagram-specific caption, or the first comment, so campaign and evergreen hashtag sets do not have to live in scattered notes.

Can I schedule Instagram posts from Media Room?

Yes. You can choose Instagram media from Media Room, organize assets with folders and labels, reuse saved media, and keep platform-specific media handling attached to the post. Google Drive import is also available in the media picker where it is configured.

Do I need a Business or Creator account?

Use a professional Instagram account for the most complete third-party scheduling workflow. Facebook Login is recommended for Business or Creator accounts linked to a Facebook Page because it supports auto-publishing and analytics. Instagram Login/direct connection is available for accounts not connected to a Facebook Page, but the product shows its limits: no analytics, collaborator lookup, product tagging, or location tagging.

Does the Instagram grid planner publish posts?

The grid planner helps you see how scheduled and upcoming Instagram content will look before it goes live. Publishing still happens through the scheduler. For feed layout work, use the grid view and Instagram grid planner together with the normal calendar.

Can I tag people, products, locations, and collaborators?

For feed posts, EziBreezy supports user tags, product tags where available, location IDs, and collaborator fields. Availability depends on the account connection and Meta capabilities. Direct Instagram Login does not provide collaborator lookup, product tagging, or location tagging in the current UI.

Can I set up a collaborative Instagram post?

Yes. On feed posts, you can add collaborators so the post shows on both accounts, with collaborator lookup built into the composer for Facebook-connected Instagram accounts. Schedule the collaborative post the same way as any other feed post, and it goes out as a co-authored post when Instagram accepts it.

Can I preview an Instagram post before it publishes?

Yes. EziBreezy shows an Instagram preview of the post, carousel, or Reel cover the way it will read in the feed, plus the grid planner so you can see how the new post sits next to the ones already up, before anything goes live.

Can I manage multiple Instagram accounts in EziBreezy?

Yes. Connect several Instagram accounts, see them all in one calendar, schedule each one with its own caption and media, and reply to comments and DMs across them from one Social Inbox. How many social connections you get depends on the plan.

Do Instagram comments and DMs come into EziBreezy?

Yes. Instagram comments and DMs are wired into the Social Inbox today, alongside Facebook comments and DMs and Threads comments.

Can I schedule Instagram posts and Reels alongside other platforms?

Yes. EziBreezy is built for multi-platform publishing across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, Pinterest, and X. Instagram can still keep its own caption, media choices, first comment, and publishing options.

What happens if a scheduled Instagram post fails?

Failed Post Recovery applies to Instagram. EziBreezy auto-retries temporary publish failures, classifies common failures in plain English, blocks retry when the account needs reauth, and gives you a one-tap Retry action when the post can be replayed.
